Côte d’Ivoire is transforming itself and moving towards sustainable development by offering innovative and environmentally friendly solutions.
Faced with urban sprawl, Côte d’Ivoire decided to modernise its operational waste management chain. To implement ecological waste treatment, the Ivorian State, with the Ministry of Sanitation and Salubrity, contracted the operator Clean Eburnie for the design, construction, financing and operation of the Centre for Landfill and Sorting Station (CVET), this being the first integrated waste management facility in Côte d’Ivoire.
In early 2020 Clean Eburnie was subject to an External Audit by a certifying entity.
The aim was to assess the implementation of the Management System and the degree of compliance with the regulatory requirements.
